Skin Solutions Collective is the evolution of aesthetic medicine and cosmetic dermatology that takes a high-touch 360-degree approach to skin and beauty. Founded originally in 2009 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side as Park Avenue Skin Solutions by Lauren Abramowitz and relocating to our flagship location to Tribeca in 2016, Skin Solutions Collective is the evolution of our brand as our locations have also grown and evolved beyond Park Avenue. While we are no longer on Park Avenue, we continue to bring that same sophistication and elegance to all of our locations with a delight of modern downtown edge. Our collective is built upon a simple goal to create a collaborative skin and beauty oasis devoted to our patient’s wellbeing.

MEET OUR COLLECTIVE

Lauren Abramowitz, who founded Park Avenue Skin Solutions in 2009 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and now has evolved into Skin Solutions Collective with multiple locations, has been a prominent leader in anti-aging and cosmetic dermatology treatments for the past two decades since the inception of Botox. A very early adopter of injectables and cutting-edge laser technology, Lauren's artful work has built her a reputation as an aesthetic medicine practitioner who helps her patients create meaningful internal and external changes in their lives.  She is part of an elite and founding group of nationally recognized Master Injectors and Trainers for Allergan Aesthetics Medical Institute.  Lauren considers herself a “healer of the skin,” along with her nuanced belief that lifestyle, confidence, and wellbeing go far beyond just beautiful skin.

Our Co-Founders, Laura and Diana Palmisano, are our dynamic Derm Duo who were early adopters and forefront leaders in cosmetic dermatology, laser technologies, and acne treatments. Their specialties include medical and cosmetic dermatology, focusing on cutting-edge laser treatments and injectables. Laura and Diana are long-standing colleagues of Lauren’s, having known each other since their relationship was forged at PA school at Lenox Hill Hospital Pace University. Fast forward 20 years, it has come full circle as fellow Physician Associates and partners in our Collective. Not only are they collaborators, providers, and partners of our collective, they also make up an elite and founding group of nationally recognized Master Injectors and Trainers for Allergan Aesthetics Medical Institute.

Our confounding team is rounded out by our Co-Founder, Nurse Melissa Knudson, who has worked alongside Manhattan's top plastic surgeons, national medical spa and has been working with Lauren for almost ten years since she first moved to New York. Nurse Mel is known for offering realistic expectations and providing natural results. who came from a high volume and high turnover practice that she felt stood in the way of her ability to develop lasting relationships when treating her patients. Now, Nurse Mel finds herself here at Skin Solutions Collective at an inflection point in her career only to be a part of creating a “patient-first” environment for her patients in a place she now calls home.
